Colleges and Universities/Research Members are teachers and administrators of family and consumer sciences programs in four-year institutions and community colleges. Researchers add to the knowledge base of family and consumer issues. Elementary, Secondary, and Adult Education Members encompass a wide range of interests, from public/private school teachers to state vocational education office administrators. Extension Ohio State University Extension educators and administrators teach programs related to family issues at the county and state levels. Business Professionals in business identify trends and integrate consumer needs in the designing and marketing of consumer goods and services. Home and Community Family and Consumer Sciences professionals who are community volunteers, homemakers, free lance consultants and retired professionals working to strengthen the profession within the community. Human Services Specialists in health care or human service, social work and the legal profession who provide support to families and individuals. PreProfessional/Graduate Students Preprofessionals dedicated to empowering families and expanding knowledge and skills to invest in their future.
