The OAFCS Friend of the Family Award is annually awarded to an individual or organization whose work has positively affected the family. Any person or organization involved in local, state, national, or international policy-making concerning family matters is eligible for the award.

Only one award will be presented. Submission requirements include:

• a nomination form
• a letter of support from the District President (if appropriate)
• the resume or curriculum vitae of the nominee (if appropriate)
• and any other relevant supporting materials (biographical information, newspaper/magazine articles, etc.)
